2 : STUDENTS’ PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
In order to collect data to analyze instructional needs, teachers
need to identify the initial ability or prior knowledge of the students of
learners. Here are the steps in identification the students’ basic skills.

can and cannot do in English, music, sports, housework, and others
