KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGI: ASSIGNMENT M4 KB2


ASSIGNMENT M 4 KB 2     : STUDENTS’ PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

In order to collect data to analyze instructional needs, teachers need to identify the initial ability or prior knowledge of the students of learners. Here are the steps in identification the students’ basic skills.
1.      Basic competencies that have been successfully created in the analysis of learning activities.

3.2 Apply social functions, text structures, and linguistic elements of transactional text of oral and written transactions involving the act of giving and soliciting information regarding ability and willingness, performing an action, in accordance with the context of its use. (pay attention to the linguistic element: can, will)

- to state that we can /can’t do something

-to state that we will/won’t do something

-          How to pronounce can/ can’t and will/won’t correctly?
-          How to say “can and can’t; will and won’t” in Bahasa Indonesia?
-          What do we use them for?
-          What are 2 skills that you can do!
-          What are 2 skills that you cannot do!
-          What are 2 activities that you will do!
-          What are 2 activities that you will not do!

4.2 Forming very short and simple texts of oral and written transactional interactions that involve the act of giving and requesting information related to ability and willingness, carrying out an action, taking into account the social function, text structure, and correct and contextual elements of language
-Interview three people in the class  and write  short paragraph that telling what they can and cannot do in English, music, sports, housework, and others

- Give information related to willingness and ability to do something

-           Make a list of questions (at least 5) starting with “Can you ………..?  related to abilities in English, music, sports, housework, and others
-          Write 2 things that you can do but you will not do  and 2 things you can do and you will   do
